Randstad Region Brussels
The joint activities in Brussels are imbedded in a national co-ordination structure in the four provincial organisations. Political guidance has been given by a management board, formed by the deputies in the four provinces with European Affairs in their portfolio. Ms Dwarshuis-Van de Beek, deputy of the province of Zuid-Holland, is president of the Board. The three other deputies European affairs are Ms Rinske Kruisinga of the province of Noord-Holland, Mr Joop Binnekamp of the province of Utrecht, and Mr Andries Greiner of the province of Flevoland.
The Randstad Brussels office consists of one or two representatives per province, one head of office and one policy assistant. Each representative deals partly with issues relating to its own province and partly with issues that are of interest for all the four Randstad provinces together. In the provincial organisation back home the four coordinators European affairs and their managers play an important role in the execution of the agenda of collaboration.
